September has come and gone and it is the first in 4 years where it has not been dictated by the rhythms of school.  i am an artist out on her own learning to dictate my own rhythms.  Trying to structure the unstructured.  Two of my drawing groups resumed getting me out of the house and among other artists for support.  But most of the work happens in isolation and submissions go out into what feels like the ether - many come back rejected.  This is ok - each one gives me more practice, confidence and helps me to revisit with a fresh eye what i am working towards.
