i draw from the model from September to June approximately 6 hours a week.  It is my work as an artist.  It keeps me practicing and i have a pile of newsprint that is close to 2ft high.  i don’t think too much while it is happening, drawing gets me to that place where i become very present and thinking stops.  So i am often surprised the following week, when with fresh eyes, i see - really see - what i did.  i love this aspect of creating when the work created  is actually a surprise to yourself.
